Well here it is our blog for our 2014 adventure - the adventure down under in Australia. We, Sean, Krystin, Matthew and Kade Rennie, are heading to Australia for a year. The adventure starts before we actually get to where we will live. We are heading to New Zealand on Christmas day for a little family vacation then off to the east coast of Australia before settling in Falcon in Western Australia. We will be about an hour south of Perth on the Indian Ocean. So stay tuned as we plan to post often to keep our family and friends up to date on our adventure.

Happy New Year

Spent New Years Eve in Rotorua – it was a quiet night – Kade was not feeling great – we got some fun snacks and watched a family movie.  New Years day we spent at the Skyline – a gondola ride to the top and a luge ride down on a paved path – very fast and I am sure that the safety regulations in New Zealand are not as restrictive as Canada.

Met some great ladies (the rowdy girls) from New Zealand on a bus tour at our hotel – great energy and lots of fun – Matthew and Kade loved them.  Thanks for all of your laughs.

New Years Day we spent at the hotel pool and then headed down to the waterfront for a nice dinner.  What a great nice waterfront – would love this in Collingwood.
Today is the second day of January and we spent it at the Polynesian Spa – a spa with hot mineral baths.  Very relaxing! The weather is clear now and warming up.  We are heading south tomorrow and will be hitting Lake Taupo and then Wellington.
