Well here it is our blog for our 2014 adventure - the adventure down under in Australia. We, Sean, Krystin, Matthew and Kade Rennie, are heading to Australia for a year. The adventure starts before we actually get to where we will live. We are heading to New Zealand on Christmas day for a little family vacation then off to the east coast of Australia before settling in Falcon in Western Australia. We will be about an hour south of Perth on the Indian Ocean. So stay tuned as we plan to post often to keep our family and friends up to date on our adventure.

Australia We Have Arrived

Well they let us into Australia and we are now in Sydney.  The weather is perfect, 30 degrees and partly cloudy skies.  We got settled into our hotel in downtown Sydney and set off on a little site seeing.  We ended up getting a bus pass for a double decker bus that takes you all around town.  We got off at the Opera House – I had not realized that I had been so looking forward to that – it made it seem real that we were really on this adventure!

We had an early evening – it was an early morning and Kade was not 100%. Matthew and I did sneak out to explored the downtown shopping area  - it was so alive – lots of shops, people and entertainers.  I think I like this city.

    OMG your pictures are amazing. the kids and I sat down and read everything so far. Can't wait to stay tuned for the next adventures….
