Well we are now on our winter holiday break and are heading north for our adventure. First stop Kalbarri. We had a great time exploring the area and hanging out with the other Canadian Families that happened to be in town at the same time - the Inglemans and Coxs!

Couldn't resist this at a gas station on the way |

Canadians waiting for the Pelicans to come for a feeding.
A fisherman started feeding the Pelicans back in 1974 at the same
time and same place every day. They continue to come everyday
at the same time now - except today - the volunteer said it
was because they were breeding |
 |
We went the next day to the same spot to see the
Pelicans they didn't come again but I found this one
a little further down the beach - I guess he couldn't
remember were to go for breakfast |
The rest of the day we spent exploring the Kalbarri Coastline. We saw a pod of dolpins, Bigurdas (red kangaroos) and whales (probably Humpbacks) splashing in the sea.

On Tuesday we headed to Kalbarri National Park and did The Loop trail a 8km hike along a river starting and ending at the Nature's Window. It was fun and we the scenery was amazing.
