Well it is official - school holidays are here and we are travelling south. First stop Hayden - the location of the 'Wave Rock". Got there a little late and it was dark (sun goes down at 6pm) so we had to wait until the next day to see the wave. Little did we know that it was only 150 metres from where we were sleeping. Got there early the next day and no one was there - it is an amazing geological feature of granite - we had way too much fun taking pictures of all of us surfing this enormous 15 metre tall, 110 metre long solid granite wave. We also explored Magic Lake and found this spring feed pool that has 7 times more salt content than the Dead Sea - it was really cool swimming in it as it felt like we had lifejackets on and we could not keep our feet from rising to the surface.

the pictures does not do it any justice - the view was amazing |

Lake Magic - beautiful colours
the salt content of this inland lake is
so high that the edge of the lake is salt crystals |
