We have made it to Esperance - it was a long, long drive but we did it. Our first day trip was out to Cape Le Grand National Park to visit some of Australia's most pristine beaches. We started by climbing up the Frenchman Peak. It was a fun rock climb up that lead to some spectacular views. Kade, of course, was the first to the top. We all did well as the posted time for the hike was 3 hours return and we did it in under an hour - that was even with lots of exploring at the top - thanks Active Life!!! After that workout we headed to the beaches. First stop was Lucky Bay Beach - a beach that we were told was one of the most beautiful in the area. Well we were not disappointed, white, white, squeaky, sand and clear turquoise blue water. We had a great time swimming and body boarding here - we even got to drive our car on the beach. Then we were off to see the next beach which was Rossiter Bay for another great view, then to Thistle Cove, Hellfire Bay and finally Cape Le Grand beach. All very beautiful.
